Every year ballers of all ages, skill levels and abilities travel from all over the country to Downtown Los Angeles, where L.A. Live transforms into the ultimate streetball destination for one weekend. From amateur to elite, the Nike Basketball 3on3 tournament offers the chance to compete for everyone in its six competitive divisions – Youth, Teen, Adult, Adult Elite, Wheelchair, and Special Olympics.
More than 1,500 teams, 5,000 players, and 25,000 spectators turn out every year for a weekend of fierce competition. The event includes an interactive family-friendly fan fest; a slam dunk contest and a celebrity game sponsored by REAL 92.3 LA which features actors, hip-hop artists and professional slam dunkers.
Portrayed here is a small sample of the work I created for this annual tournament.
In addition to the event key art and main logo I designed, I created various digital and print assets: website landing pages, mobile app icons, mobile UX designs, outdoor advertising, animated gifs, social media graphics, e-mail blasts, court design layouts and decals, trophy designs, credentials, on-site signage, digital PPC graphics, and much more.
My work also carried through to the event’s radio and television advertising.
