Merle Norman Cosmetics – Website

I directed, designed and facilitated a complete overhaul of the Merle Norman Cosmetics’s website.

Their existing site, at the time, was extremely outdated. It wasn’t responsive and 90 percent of the text wasn’t live. Not to mention, they weren’t even set up for e-commerce.

For this project, I selected, hired and closely collaborated with an outside web development team and together we launched a new, modern site that accomplished all of these things and more.

Using my experience and solid understanding of web design and UI, I conceptualized, designed and directed the site’s new look and functionality.

Once we launched the site, I created a web standard and design guide for the creative team to adhere to in order to ensure each of our materials looked well together, stayed within brand and was made to the correct specs.

In addition, I also made all backend updates to the site as needed, each time we changed seasons and/or added products or verbiage changes to the site.
